Annual Community Giveback 2026: In the Books

Another Annual Community Giveback is officially in the books, and there truly are not enough words to express the gratitude we feel after another opportunity to serve our community.

Each year brings new connections, meaningful partnerships, generous supporters, dedicated prayer warriors, unexpected challenges, and countless reminders of why this work matters. Even when obstacles arise, we remain committed to moving forward in obedience to what God has placed before us. We believe that opposition does not mean we should stop—it often reminds us that the work we are doing is meaningful. What matters is how we respond to the roadblocks and whether we continue to faithfully use what God has placed in our hands.

This year, the day was full. The needs were met. The community showed up—and, as always, so did we. And yes, there were definitely tears of gratitude along the way.

Serving With Dignity

One of our longstanding commitments during every outreach event is to protect the dignity and privacy of those we serve.

We intentionally ask that individuals receiving assistance not be photographed face-forward unless they personally choose to do so. This work has never been about recognition, visibility, or creating a photo opportunity. It is about people.

We know what we look like. Our community does not need to see us in a photograph to know that we showed up.

There are moments when someone is navigating a vulnerable season and simply needs support, compassion, and a helping hand—not a camera. We believe service should never come at the expense of someone's dignity.

Much of the work we do happens quietly, without being photographed or posted. Because true service is not measured by how visible the moment is, but by whether the need was met.

This year, the community was present—and so were we.

Stretching What We Had

Above all, we are grateful to God for stretching every bit of oil we had left—the strength, resilience, resources, time, territory, and willing hands needed to make this year's outreach possible.

There were many lessons, many moments of growth, and many reminders that we are never serving alone.

To every community leader, ministry, place of worship, employer, supporter, volunteer, team member, prayer warrior, and every person who showed up—or desired to show up—we say thank you.

Thank you to those who gave resources.
Thank you to those who gave their time.
Thank you to those who prayed.
Thank you to those who encouraged us.
Thank you to those who worked behind the scenes.
And thank you to every person who helped us continue serving with purpose.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, grateful for the community that continues to trust us, and grateful for every lesson this year's Giveback brought with it.

Until the next opportunity to serve, we remain committed to showing up, serving with dignity, and doing what God has instructed our hands to do.
