Faith, Strength, and Purpose: The Heart Behind Still Breathing

The Still Breathing Movement was born from a powerful moment of realization—one that changed my life forever. As a featured speaker at an all-women’s event in Baltimore, Maryland, I had the opportunity to share my story in a way that resonated deeply. I chose to deliver a spoken word piece I had written specifically for that night, titled I’m Still Breathing. As I spoke with conviction, I watched the crowd shift, their expressions reflecting the impact of my words. In that moment, a simple phrase became more than just a statement—it became a movement.

Long after the event, I’m still breathing lingered in conversations, a reminder of resilience and strength. And then, I heard God’s voice: This is your platform. That divine instruction ignited a mission within me—one that would extend far beyond that room. From that day forward, I was transformed, empowered, and called to do the work of helping others rediscover their own breath of life.

The Still Breathing Movement is more than just a message; it’s a mission to reach women across the nation, empowering, equipping, and encouraging them to recognize that they are still here for a reason. Life’s hardships—trauma, abuse, depression, loss—can weigh heavy on the mind, body, and soul, but even in the darkest moments, there is one undeniable truth: if you are still breathing, there is still purpose.

Placing a hand over your heart, feeling its steady rhythm, and recognizing the breath within you is a reminder that you have survived. I know this truth firsthand—through every hardship, from painful diagnoses to moments of abandonment, my heartbeat was my proof of life. And if I was still breathing, then I had already made it through.

My purpose is to share this revelation with as many people as possible. The Still Breathing Movement exists to shift mindsets, awaken hope, and breathe life into those who need it most. Together, we will rebuild, restore, and rise.

Thank you for being part of this journey—there is so much more ahead!

Expanding the Mission

What began as a movement to empower women has now grown to reach men, children, and seniors, ensuring that everyone knows they are still breathing and capable of renewal. Through impactful shows like Let the King Speak for men, Her Victory Has a Voice for women, and the Survivors Round Table, Still Breathing Movement provides spaces for healing and transformation. The Shatter Barren Initiative is dedicated to supporting women struggling with infertility, offering them hope and community. With plans to launch special programs for young people and seniors, the movement continues to grow. As it branches into new states, the mission remains the same—to share God’s love, provide encouragement, and uplift communities everywhere.
